Pet Shop Going Broke and Abusing Pets!
We love them, most of us have one, but what happens before we get them? Folks, I’m talking about our pets. I was browsing a selection of pets at Magical Menagerie, Dalaran’s local pet shop, when I saw a disturbing sight. The Turtles there were out of water! In fact, one poor turtle was nowhere near it. I looked over at the shop’s fish tank to find not a fish, but a gnome! That’s right folks I saw a gnome in the fish tank!
When asked about the turtles the shops owner, Breanni, had this to say, “The turtles are removed from their tanks while they are being cleaned. I assure you that they have plenty of water on a daily basis. We do not abuse pets in this shop and I promise you we have the finances to take care of them.”
After hearing Breanni’s statement, I felt suspicious. She had mentioned her finances when I didn’t inquire about them. So I did a little snooping around and found a treasure chest, the shop’s assets. The chest was empty!
Shocked, I asked the gnome who was cleaning the turtle tanks a few questions. He had this to say, “Cleaning? I’m not cleaning buddy. I’m taking a swim, though it wasn’t worth the price.” That’s right folks, people can go into the tank for a price. While this may seem like good fun, when I informed the Dalaran Police, they were not very happy.
The Dalaran Chief of Police had this to say, “Seeing as this tank is not registered, there is no lifeguard on duty, and the tank is for pets only there will be an investigation.”
The Dalaran police expect to get the warrant to bring Breanni in for questioning by the end of Brewfest.
The pets in this shop have my sympathy. This has been another scandal uncovered. Check in daily to find out what else is not what it seems.
